A smash cake is a small individual cake, usually a 6-inch round, made for the birthday baby to dig into during first-birthday photos. We can decorate it to coordinate with your party theme or your main cake. We also offer gluten-free flavors (yellow, confetti, and chocolate) for the littlest celebrants, and every smash cake is quoted individually based on the design.

We include more flavors and fillings at our base price than any of our competitors: 19 signature cake flavors and 9 fillings, all made in-house with our signature buttercream. Other flavors include chocolate, red velvet, lemon, strawberry, confetti, carrot, almond, marble, and more.

Yes. Our cake artists are known for nailing custom color matches and detailed designs. One bride told us we did an insane color match to her invitation suite, and others said guests asked if the cake was fake because it looked so perfect. Bring your inspiration photos, colors, and theme, and we will design around them. The sooner you share the concept, the more time we have to perfect it.

Do you offer gluten-free or vegan birthday cakes?

We offer gluten-free cakes in yellow, confetti, and chocolate, available for cupcakes, cake pops, and basic cakes (intricate designs are limited due to the denser texture), plus a limited vegan menu. We cannot combine gluten-free and vegan in one cake. We work with 6 of the top 8 allergens but bake in a shared kitchen and cannot guarantee against cross-contamination, so please tell us about any allergies when you order.

As a quick guide, a 6-inch round serves about 12. For larger parties we can do bigger rounds or tiered cakes, all priced per serving. Just tell us your guest count and we will recommend the right size. Because we price by the serving, you only pay for the cake you actually need.

For custom birthday cakes, payment in full is required to secure your order, and quotes are valid for 24 hours. Ready-now items purchased through ordersweets.net are same-day pickup and all sales final. (Weddings work differently, with a $100 deposit to hold your date.)

We offer delivery and setup on orders of $350 or more across Central Indiana, including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Westfield, Greenwood, and more, with the fee based on distance and timing. For smaller ready-now treats, you can also find us on DoorDash.
